iPHONE APPLICATION

I can’t say it enough! I love my iPhone! I installed lots of Apps on it already. Some I paid for (on sale for $0.99!) and some are installed free. Ryan’s made a few comments about it. :P. The one that is stuck in my head is: “Look at you and your iPhone!” LOL. It’s really very addictive.

Last night, while I was browsing the productivity category I found an app called iResolve. I haven’t made New Years Resolutions in 2 years but this time I am going to make a list because of it. I will share it here. You will see it after the fold and you will also see some of the cool apps I installed. :)

Blogging FROM MY iPHONE

While I was browsing the top 25 apps for iPhone’s, I came across to one that let me blog anywhere! I thought it was pretty cool so here I am blogging from my it! It’s free too!

Anyways, Jonathon hasn’t been feeling well. He caught Chantelle’s bug! I feel bad because it’s his first time to get a cold so he doesn’t know how to deal with it. :(. I don’t think I mentioned it here but I stopped breastfeeding a few days ago. I did it gradually because I didn’t want it to hurt. Now that he’s off the b**b, he is on his own fighting bugs and stuff. :/. Can’t be fun for him.

It’s been a hellish two days. He’s been miserable which is so unlike him plus he is also teething. He woke up at 4 this morning. Not fun! I am tired but what can I do? Ryan let me go back to bed when he got home from a night shift, but I didn’t want to, because he needed to sleep too! Chantelle’s been helping though and I think it is so sweet!  :) I am lucky!

So what do you think about the wordpress app? Pretty cool if you ask me! ;). As for Jonathon, I hope that he feels better soon. Poor little fella! @_@

CHRISTMAS AT HOME

Our Christmas was really nice and cozy. We stayed home, hang out, opened presents, ate, and I got to drink a glass of white wine! Yum! It’s been a year and a few months since I had one. I enjoyed it a lot. :)

For our food we had honey glazed ham, broccoli, mashed potatoes, bread that was fresh from the oven, carrots, etc. It was a really nice and quiet Christmas celebration.

In the afternoon, we spoke to MIL and FIL on skype and we also got to see Memere on the webcam! YAY! After that, we called my family in England and spoke to them too. It was nice to hear from everyone. :) I really thought that it would be a very lonely Christmas because our families are miles away but it was actually nice. The kids also made it fun! Gotta love having kids!

I finished clearing up the kitchen a few moments ago and we have leftovers. I feel bad about it so I decided to put some in the freezer. I hope that they’re still okay to eat when defrosted. I also made pork paksiw of the leftover bone thingy that was left. Guess what? It came out good. Num yummy! ^_^

Hope you guys had a Merry Christmas! As for my present I got the iphone and other stuff! Picture after the fold. Click if you want to see my lovely iphone! Other presents are posted on flickr (for friends only to see).

BEST MOMENTS

Best moments with my son.

  • When I have him in my arms and his face is next to mine.
  • When he is napping next to me on the bed. He looks so precious!
  • He rubs his face on my cheeks when he is tired! Makes my face dry but it’s totally worth it.
  • When he noms my face. LOL. Drool galore but I don’t care!
  • When he looks at me as if he is shy and rubs his face just above my clavicle.
  • When he giggles at me for saying “bo!” short for peek-a-boo
  • When he gives me a look that tells me it’s all my fault!
  • When he lifts his arms every time he sees me. It means he wants me to pick him up
  • etc…

It’s great to have Jonathon in our lives!

AS EXPECTED

Have you ever had that awful feeling after someone leaves? That deafening silence? That empty feeling? We all felt it yesterday after my sister left. We all miss my sister because she’s been a great companion over the last three months. I think it is even harder for Chantelle as they shared a room together. She cried nonstop for almost an hour! It was hard to see. We tried to make her feel better by letting her play with the computer with no limit and by telling her that she can have what she wants. Nothing cheered her up and she didn’t want anything. I felt really bad so I decided to take her to see BOLT. She stopped crying while we were out but started again at bed time. She cried herself to sleep. :(. She’s better today but she still mentions her auntie and how she misses her a lot. :(. Poor thing.

MY SISTER

My sister is leaving tomorrow after 3 months of staying with us. I am really sad about the whole thing but she has to go back because mum wants her back. :P. I keep thinking about tomorrow afternoon when she’s no longer here. It’s going to feel weird without her. The apartment is going to feel empty or maybe it’s me who is going to feel empty. I have gotten used to our bickering, and having someone to talk to. Ahh… I wish that my parents live here. Her going back to England makes me want to go back to England. :(

Anyway, she wanted to go shopping before her flight so we took her shopping today. Ryan gave her a $50 gift card from American Eagle for Christmas, so she got herself some stuff today. She also bought some Lucky Charms cereal for her friends. Her friends, who I think are weird, wants her to bring a few boxes for them because we don’t have Lucky Charms cereal in England. When were done shopping, we went out for a meal. We took her to Nagoya. A Japanese Restaurant. Delicious food! I wish I had my camera with me. I would have taken lots of pictures of the lovely food presentation.

When we got home, she gave Jonathon a bath and she started packing. I helped of course! :P. She has stuff that didn’t fit in her suitcase so we’re going to send it off to her. Maybe tomorrow after we take her to the airport.

I am going to miss my sister. It’s been really nice having her around. Too bad it has to end but such is life. Nothing lasts forever. You have to say goodbye sometimes. :( Ryan is sad that I am sad, so he promised that we’ll go back to England someday for a vacation. The promise kind of made me feel better, but it didn’t help the fact that I am missing my sister so bad and she hasn’t even left yet.

The weather has been really cold so I thought of making chicken soup for our lunch today. I know how to do it because Mum taught me how when she was visiting. It’s very easy that is why I know how to cook it. :P. I like my chicken soup with rice. The picture doesn’t look good. I can’t seem to get my food presentation right so neh… :P.

POTATO WEDGES

I made some potato wedges a couple of weeks ago. I used Concord Foods Roasted Potato seasoning mix Bacon and Chive flavor that we bought from Walmart before Thanksgiving week. It’s very easy to make! I just followed the instructions located at the back of the package. :). So yummy! The picture isn’t really good because Chantelle and Kristina were quicker than me. They already had their hands on the food before I could take a snap shot. :P
