daily blatherings

If you don’t know it already we’re back from OKC. The drive was very long, but 8 is better ten hours. I honestly thought it was going to take us that long because of the baby but he was really good. He only cried once on our lunch break and then he was back to being a happy sleepy baby when we got back in the car. Good boy!

At the moment we’re still unpacking and organizing things. You should see our place. It’s a mess! Ugh… There are boxes everywhere, bin bags are piled in one corner ready to be thrown out. We must have thrown so much stuff that we don’t need. :(. I feel bad about that.

Today, we went out furniture shopping. We want a new sofa. We want something comfy, something soft. I want leather because we have a baby who spits and puke, and I figured it would be easy to clean, but hubby doesn’t want leather. He said it’s hard for him to get comfortable on a leather sofa. :P. We found something in East Memphis but Ryan said to wait awhile just in case we find something better. He’s right. We can’t rush through these things. Although we rushed buying that TV. :P

Ryan is back to work tomorrow so we can’t go anywhere. He’s allowed to have 8 days off for transition though so he’s going to ask 5 days off starting Wednesday. We need to sort out Chantelle’s school and some other stuff. Busy, busy, busy! I am so tired. I only had a few hours sleep since Friday. My eye bags are down to my jaw. :P. I need sleep. #_#.

It’s been crazy around here. I can’t wait  for everything to go back to normal. I am hoping that we’re back to normal at end of the month. I’ll cross my fingers. :)

Hubby went out last night with N and S. He wanted me to go but I was so tired! I told him to go on his own and have a good time. He was a bit disappointed but like I said I was too tired. My tooth was also bugging me. Argh. Since I started breastfeeding my bones and joints ache and now I am getting a toothache too! Jonathon is sucking whatever nutrients I have. I think I need more calcium! #_#

Anyway, I told Ryan to bring me home some leftover pizza. He did. And some Cold Stone ice cream. He got me Vanilla with reese’s chocolates. I didn’t eat it last night though but I will today. :)

Ryan said he had a great time. I am happy for him. The man needed it. He needed a break from work, and he needed sometime away from all the crap I give him at home. LOL. Just kidding! #_#

Please don’t take this the wrong way because my husband is only joking. Here is our conversation while we were having Chinese food.

ME: Are they chatty with you when you pick up your order?
RYAN: No. No one really talks to me.
ME: Oh so they’re cold then?
RYAN: I dunno honey, they’re Asian, they disguise everything.
ME: *LOL*. You’re so silly.
RYAN: Like Lucy Liu. You don’t know whether she’s mad or happy.
ME: ugh… you’re such a silly man.
RYAN: I can tell you though. Lucy Liu is hawt!
ME: uh huh!

Ryan is a silly man! :P Note that when I wrote LOL, I was actually laughing out loud.
