Testing Scribefire.

We have a new ride. A Nissan Xterra (more pics on flickr) Ryan bought it today at the Nissan dealership here in OK. I had no idea he was going to buy one today. It was a total surprise. We’re finally done renting cars. :P

It’s so hard to get Jonathon drink from a bottle! It wasn’t always hard. Ryan used to feed him during the night so I could get some sleep. It was nice, but we stopped when he started his new job two weeks ago.

Ryan’s job is very demanding and helping him get rest when he is at home is really nice for him. My only regret is that I stopped feeding Jonathon with a bottle as soon as Ryan stopped feeding him during the night. I wish I continued to do it because he is now having a hard time latching on to the teat.

I want to stop feeding him directly from the boob during the day. The reason for it is it’s hard to go out with him so attached to me. We had to grab whatever we can when we were out grocery shopping the other day so we could get home and feed him. I also want to stop now while he is 2 months old. I have a feeling that it will get harder to wean him off if we leave it too late.

Three days ago I decided to pump milk and feed him using the bottle. You should have seen his face. He resisted and made funny faces. From the expressions he pulled I think he wanted to say “bleurgh!” LOL.

I fed him with a bottle three times yesterday and he resisted each time too. It was like going into a battlefield every time I fed him with it! He fought and cried but I kept trying. I won! :P. I fed him using the bottle again this morning and that was also hard but he latched on after several tries. *Whew!* It is hard! I plan to feed him 4x using the bottle today. Wish me luck!

Am I too old to develop a crush on Xavier Nady? I saw him play baseball yesterday (LAA v. NYY). My oh my! He is sizzling hot! hehe! I am a big fan of his now. I asked Ryan to buy me a Jersey with his name on the back. He said he will as soon as it’s available in the stores. Apparently he joined the team not long ago so a jersey with his name on it is probably not available yet. :P. I am a big fan of David Beckham too, so I put Xavier Nady up there with him. :D [ - Image source: MLB.com - ]
