daily blatherings

Ryan must be missing Texas because tonight he took us out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse here in OKC. Their food is good. Loved the grilled shrimp skewers served on a bed of seasoned rice. It was really good. ^_^ I also loved their fresh baked bread with cinnamon spread on the side. Good food!

To celebrate Ryan’s new job, we are going to eat out tonight. He said he’s going to take us somewhere we’ve never been. I don’t mind but what I really want is to go to a sushi bar, because I am craving sushi. I haven’t had sushi in ages. The thing is, they don’t have a sushi bar anywhere around here unlike back home near our apartment, they have sushi bar on each side. I should make some but how? I think it’s time to head over to videojug.com. :P.

My mum called to tell me that she’s going to give me one of her house in Cebu, and she’ll have the papers sent to me soon. How nice! She’s giving one to my sister too! The reason for this is because she doesn’t want to get taxed! She’s a British citizen so the government in the Philippines is going to penalize her if she owns more than three houses. That’s sad but I can’t wait to see “my” house! LOL. I never thought I’d own one in the Philippines! If only we own one here too! Darn. Maybe someday.

Onto a different topic: WE MOVED! It’s so nice to have our own place. Ah… Sweet! I missed it. It was very tiring to get there especially with the baby but it was all worth it because our apartment is great! I love it. It’s a new building and we’re the first ones to live there so you can imagine how clean it is. The place is also 10 minutes away from the city. I am a city girl at heart so I am very happy! I also heard that Chantelle’s school is one of the best in town so we’re really happy! w00t!

Of course there’s a negative side to it too. :P. The weather is not very good during summer. It’s muggy but apparently it gets better. Also I don’t like how there’s always someone (a neighbor) outside every time I go out. Ryan told me to get used to it because we live in an apartment complex and we’re bound to bump (literally) into our neighbors. LOL. I guess I’ll have to cope! LOL. I sound like a freaking snob! Geez! Seriously though, it’s been awhile since I lived in a flat or apartment so it will take time to get used to.

The only thing that suck right now is that we’re not living there at the moment. We had to leave it for two months so Ryan could do his training here in Oklahoma City. :(. So sad. I can’t wait to go back! I love our apartment. You should hear me talk about how I am going to decorate the apartment to Ryan. LOL. I have big plans for it. We are going for the modern look. Yes! Woohoo! I am already looking for stuff to put in it. Woohoo! So exciting.

Excuse me, but I have to blog about this. It’s my way of sharing the joys of motherhood. :P

JC pooped and it took us an hour to clean it!

Yeahah!

Poop and pee! It was that bad! Ryan was like “DUDE!”. Hahaha! It went past his nappy/diaper to his clothes, then it went past his clothes to his swing and on the straps too. O_O! We couldn’t get the straps out so we had to use our thinking cups to clean it. Ryan cleaned it to his standard but it did not reach up to mine. :P. He was just going to leave it with poop stains on.

Yeah… Seriously.

I was like? Are you mad? I am not having that! So of course I ended up cleaning it. :P. His swing is now clean again. Whew!
