THIS KNOB

Baby JC hates this knob. I have to be careful every time I lean over to read small prints from the laptop because JC kicks up a storm when my tummy is pressed to this little handle. Poor thing. He really hates it. The good thing about this knob is that whenever I don’t feel JC move I lean over and press my belly gently on it, and he would move. :D.
PIKCHURS
Everytime Ryan takes a picture of me, I get mad because I think that he’s out to make me ugly on my pictures. LOL. He thinks I am crazy. :P. The other night I showed him the mini cards I ordered from moo.com.
This is how our conversation went:
Me: Look babe, don’t you look good in this picture?
Ryan: *watching tv so was not really paying attention* yeah, very good babe.
ME: Yeah unlike you, I actually care about my subjects when I take pictures.
Ryan: *full attention on me. amused.* Oh… is that what we are now to you? Subjects? We’re just a bunch of subjects.”
LOL. Whoops. Didn’t mean it to come out like that. Hahaha!
BAD WEATHER
The weather last night was tuh.reh.bol! Rain downpour, thunder followed by lightning. :/. I thought the sky was angry and was out to get us and I thought for awhile that a tornado passed us. The weather report said that most places in TX was on tornado watch, so I was really worried. It didn’t help that Ryan was at work. All I could think was him at his workplace. I was very worried about him driving home too. I am just glad it calmed down when he finished his shift (*whew! wipes forehead*). We’ve had bad weather in the UK before, but it wasn’t like that, and I couldn’t remember anything like that when I lived in the Philippines.
While the weather was cussing and cursing, I covered my belly with a pillow so JC couldn’t hear anything. :P. I didn’t want him to freak out and come out early. Chantelle slept like a log. :P. I asked her this morning if she heard anything and she said she didn’t! I was like, “How could you not have heard anything? It was really loud!” Her answer to me was: “I dunno.” LOL. It may just as well she didn’t hear anything as she would have been so scared. Even I was scared. :P. FIL showed me the backyard this morning. OH.MY.GOODNESS! It is flooded out there. The golf course is covered in brown water! :/. I think it’s crazy.
*I should remember that what I experienced last night was nothing compared to what these people had to endure on a bad weather. Also, some people complain about how ugly crocs are… Well, I am sorry but I think that you’re lucky enough to have a choice to wear them. I am sure they would bring comfort to these people who, as you can see, aren’t wearing anything with their feet. Shut up about how ugly and unfashionable they are *y’all*! Yeah. Really *y’all*!
-just sayin’ *y’all*! hehehe…
After that being said, I MISS MY UGLY BLACK CROCS! It’s still packed away somewhere in San Antonio. They were really comfy to wear! I think I need to get a new one because I plan to walk around in them when Baby JC is out. :D

ON MOTHER’S DAY
Mother’s day was celebrated around Ryan’s family. We started on Friday by going to Dave and Busters for dinner. After dinner we spent a few hours inside the game room and helped Chantelle won 740 plus worth of tickets. She was going to claim a prize with the whole thing but she decided to save it for next time because she wants to get a big fluffy toy. Those are worth around 1500 tickets so she decided to wait.
On Saturday, Ryan, Chantelle and I stayed home while MIL went grocery shopping. When she came back she had a card for me and Memere. The card she gave me almost made me cry because of the words that was written in it. It was so sweet and something that I felt for real. I gave her a hug and thanked her. Aww… My MIL is so sweet. ^_^. After all that, Chantelle and I helped her baked a cake for Papa Bob’s restaurant. :D
Sunday, we had lunch at Casa Ole. The food there was delicious. I had fajitas Ole (beef, chicken and shrimp) and that was really good. Best fajita I’ve had so far. Even Ryan said it was the best beef and chicken fajita he had too. After lunch, we went over to Mem’s to greet her a Happy Mother’s Day. Ryan’s Uncle and Auntie from Dallas were there too so that was nice. We were there from around 1-ish till 5! Great fun. When we left, they wished Ryan and I good luck for next week. ^_^ In the evening, Papa Bob knocked on our door and wished me a Happy Mother’s Day and told me about how the weekend was for him. It’s nice to know that he had a great weekend at his restaurant. He deserves it. I am glad for him. ^_^
As for Chantelle’s gifts for me, click here and here. I didn’t know my lips were that thick. I know it’s wide but I didn’t know it was that wide. :P. Ryan said it looks good even though it’s a little scary. LOL. Aww! She’s sweet! To sum it all up, it was a great weekend. Best Mother’s Day I had ever. ^_^.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

ON THE DAY
Not long now till I have my C section. I am not supposed to eat or drink anything from 5am till it’s done. I am really worried because I tend to feel shaky when I am hungry. :/. Ryan told me to eat at 11-12 at night so it’s not too bad the next day. He also told me to sleep all day long until it’s time to go to the hospital. I guess I should follow his advice. #_#.
HAD TO BLOG THIS
Chantelle and I had this conversation this morning.
C: Mom? Do you have a third eye somewhere on the back of your head?
Me: Why do you ask?
C: Weeeeell, how do you know everything I do?
ME: Hehehe. Yes, I have a third eye, so watch out!
C: argghh…
MY LAPTOP
NESTING INSTINCT
Yesterday, I started getting ready for the baby’s arrival by cleaning the room and organizing baby JC’s stuff. All 0-3 months clothes are now in the temporary drawer we bought for him from walmart. The 3-6 months cothes now hang in the closet and same with the 6-12mos clothes he owns. I noticed yesterday that he even owns 2yr old clothes. LOL. MIL went over the top buying clothes for him at OSHKOSH (note: I am not complaining.) I also got the bottle sterilizer out ready for when we arrive from the hospital. I unpacked and arranged everything so it’s not hard for me to find them when the baby is home. :)
While I was doing this yesterday, FIL came in and said that he thinks baby JC is coming in a couple of days. He said: “You are having the nesting instinct and there is no stopping you now.” LOL. He was right about no stopping me, because I wasn’t going to let anyone stop me even Ryan. He is so over protective. I like it, but I think sometimes it’s too much! I am not supposed to do anything now but stretch out! :P I can’t do that! I want to go out and about. Walk around even though my back hurts when I walk, take pictures and window shop. Get some exercise! If my water breaks, no worries. I have something stashed inside my bag to prevent leakage (tmi). :P.
Yes, we are ready for baby JC. He better be ready for us too! :D
Random: I also decided to have my tubes tied permanently. I know it sounds so final but to be honest, I only wanted one kid (Chantelle) but I am now going to end up with two. I wasn’t happy in the beginning but I am now looking forward to having two kids. :) I definitely don’t want anymore after JC so I think the best way is to have tubal ligation because I can’t be bothered with the PILL. :P
