ADDICTED TO
I
MIL treated us out to the Cheesecake Factory tonight. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants since we’ve been here, but the Cheesecake Factory has got to be one of the best place we’ve been to so far. Their food portions are massive! I only ate a quarter of the COBB salad I ordered and had to take the rest home. Glad I ordered the dressing on the side otherwise the salad would be all mushy tomorrow.
After our main course, we ordered dessert! I split a Brownie Sundae Cheesecake with CF. I am glad I did, because I couldn’t even finish my half. It was delicious but it was too rich! The leftover is now sitting in the fridge ready for me to eat whenever I want. :)
That place is now added to my favourite place to eat next to P.F. Changs. :) I really loved that place. It’s no wonder it’s MIL’s favourite place to eat.
OUR 2ND ANNIVERSARY
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US.
LAKELINE MALL
When Ryan took CF and I to Lakeline Mall, we came across a stand that sold fashion jewelries. I love fashion jewelries so we stopped by. I admired some of the necklace that was hanging on the front, then all of a sudden this cute middle aged Chinese lady popped out of nowhere and said: “Oh, you like it? you like it? You wanna try?” and she proceeded to put it around my neck. I thought she was going to choke me or something. Just kidding. :P. I wasn’t going to buy it because of the way she popped out of nowhere and aggressively put the necklace around my neck, but cherries are my favorite fruit so I decided to buy it. I am glad I did. :)
When we finally broke away from the lady, we went downstairs to look for more things, and there we found a really nice store called Past Presents, a memorabilia store. They were closing down too and all stuff were 60% off! We bought MIL an “I love Lucy” frame because she collects “I love Lucy” stuff. Ryan also got himself a really nice dart board that would have cost him $150, but with the 60% off, the thing only cost him $60. He was happy with his purchase. ^^
On Friday, we’re taking MIL back there to look at the “I love Lucy” stuff. While we are there, I am going to seriously think about buying some Betty Boop and Marilyn Monroe stuff. :) I like Marilyn Monroe and I think Betty Boop stuff are good stuff to collect. We have to get there by Friday because their last day in the mall is on Saturday. I can’t wait because I finally found something to collect! ^^. Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop!
PET LAND
Yesterday, we took CF to Petland in Georgetown. We saw all sorts of animals such as bunnies, ferrets, tropical birds and puppies! Those puppies are really cute! We saw a couple of shih tzu, and wanted so much to play with one at the play area, but Ryan did not let us because he knows what I am like. He thought that I would be so heart broken if we played with one for a few minutes and then have it put back in the cage. :/. It’s true though. I feel bad for the puppies! I could see that they are well taken care of by the people who work there, but to see them in cages is still very sad. I told Ryan that if I had plenty of money I would take them home, but of course I am not being practical! Animal rescue would probably come knocking in my door if I had loads of puppies in my home. Oh and at the moment, we don’t have a home of our own so yeah. :P
After Petland, we went to the RR outlets. I bought myself a fifty four fossil collection bag. huhuhu! Trust me I did not want to buy the bag because I have so many bags already, but I ended up buying it anyway. I feel really guilty! I don’t know why? WTF man? LOL! As you can probably tell, I am going crazy over here. :P. So yeah, I’ve decided not to buy anymore bags till next year! Yeah! Mark my word! I will not buy another bag till January 2009! That’s a promise to myself!
After the outlets, we came home and sat outside the backyard and talked, ate refreshing mangoes, enjoyed the scenery and watched a couple of people play golf from afar. We had a great day. :)
AUSTIN PARK n PIZZA
Ryan treated CF and I to Austin Park today. Austin Park is like Thorpe Park in England, but this one is a lot smaller and cheaper. For $25, we got free drinks, free food (pizza, salad, & pasta). If you live in Austin and you decide to go there, I suggest you don’t eat before you go in because they provide food all day long for people with all day pass. Everything was basically free apart from a few arcade games.
It was a really good day for us as a family. Ryan and I played pool while CF rested her legs. :P. Imagine a pregnant lady with a big belly and a big fat ass playing pool! Nevahmind! It’s not a pretty sight! The worst part was that I suck at it! I need practice. We also played miniature golf. I didn’t suck so much on the miniature golf, but I could have done better! Ryan was so competitive! Geez! I swear he kept adding points to my hits! :P.
It was so much fun at Austin Park today. Ryan and CF went on as many rides as they could. Paying $25 each was so worth it! I’d like to go back again but I think Sea World in San Antonio is next one on our list. ^^
