I didn’t want to say anything until I had my official lab result and Dr’s appointment but today I had both so I am gonna go ahead and announce it. We’re going to have a baby. I am 7 weeks 3 days pregnant. Everything is good so far but I gained weight because I’ve been very indulgent. I don’t want to be indulgent anymore so I’ll start eating healthy again. I don’t believe in “eating for two”. What a load of bull.

Anyway, I feel really ill in the mornings. I am always tired and I am napping all the time. I dunno how I am gonna cope when I go back to work. Also everything smells foul. Some people who look like they haven’t had a wash makes me want to vomit. I am so mean but I can’t help it! This actually happened to my grandma when she was pregnant. She didn’t like the look of some people in her neighborhood so whenever they came round to her house, she ended up chasing them with a broomstick. I am not kidding! Uhmm… no she didn’t ride the broomstick, she was holding it over her head. I know this because she used to tell my cousins and I stories about her past.

So yeah that’s about it really. I am pregnant. Chantelle & Ryan are excited, mum and dad are excited. Ryan’s mum is excited and said she wants a girl. Everyone’s excited.

It rained and poured today but it didn’t stop me from taking pictures of Chantelle and the lovely maple tree in our neighborhood. It is so rich in colours that I wanna stare at it all day. I love the green, yellow and orange colours. It’s enough to inspire me to create another layout. :) I wanna take more pics tomorrow. If hubby is not feeling too lazy , I will ask him to take me to Mildenhall so I could take pictures of the trees they have on base. :)

I spoke to Chantel on gtalk this afternoon and I am very happy to learn that they are doing extremely well. They now have their own house, they’re driving a massive truck, and that she and Kurt are now both working and receiving paychecks. It took them only a few months to settle on the other side of the pond. I am hoping that it will be like that for Ryan and I. Who knows though. They may just have gotten lucky.

Chantel said that it was hard at first but they made it. She’s gonna put in less hours at work now that Kurt is hired as an ATC. How kewl! They also got $20k bonus. I wish Ryan and I were in the same boat. If we ever get hired somewhere and get the same amount of bonus, we will use the money to deposit on a house. We really want our own house. That will be our priority.

Anyway, Chantel offered their house to us for a few months until we get our own. She said it will help us out especially in the first few months. Isn’t that nice? We are so lucky to have such amazing generous friends. Ryan and I are both really happy for them. It’s good to hear that our friends are doing well. They deserve it as they are good and hard working people. :)

I am too old for this stuff. It is evil! Yesterday, I felt bad all morning because of hangover. I will NEVER drink tequila again even if money was on the table. It’s not worth the pain that I now know I will get the next day. :P. The party was good though and the food was delicious. Plenty of cakes to go around. They also did tequila body shots with their husbands. I am glad Ryan stayed home and played with his Halo 3 because they would have forced us to do a body shot together. Ugh… that would have been awkward. Like I said it was a good and fun party. Enjoyed it. Pics will be posted on flickr later on today. :)

Yesterday, we had brunch with Ryan & Felicia’s workmates in Mhall. The food was good as usual and I ate a lot! I dunno but every time I have a hangover I always want to eat bad foods. :P. I had sausages, large cheese and ham omelette, rice, bacon, waffles etc… etc… OMGosh! #_#. Anyway, it doesn’t matter how much I ate as long as I enjoyed myself. LOL. Yeah right. Anyway, after brunch, we went back to Felicia’s house and let Leilanie nap for a bit then we went to the carnival on base. Chantelle went on a lot of rides. Leilanie couldn’t go in any of them because she’s still too young. When we were done, we went back to F’s house and had Chinese food. Fun day! :)
