MY NEW COFFEEMAKER
Did I tell you that the coffeemaker hubby bought 3 years ago died a year or so ago? I was disappointed but didn’t really care much and decided to go back to drinking instant coffee. Well, today he bought a new one after I said I wanted a new coffeemaker. YAY! I can’t wait to use it tomorrow morning.

MY DAY
If you’ve been following me on twitter then you would know that I traveled 8 hours today to take Chantelle to see my parents. It’s been a long day but I am happy that my mum and dad get to see Chantelle this summer even if it is only for 5 days. Chantelle missed them too. You should have seen her face when Dad told her that he and her auntie couldn’t make it to BsE. Her face fell and handed me the phone without saying anything. I felt so sorry for her. What she didn’t know was that my dad asked if I could take her to Guildford. She was so happy to find out that she was going to see them. :P
When we arrived at my parents, my Dad gave me a kiss on the forehead. I nearly cried but I didn’t show it to him. First time in a long time that he did that. Ten years! What’s going on? I hope he is OK. I love my dad. I wanna cry again. :(. I am such a soppy cow but I can’t help it. I wanted to stay longer but I had to go as I didn’t want to be late coming back home. I have work tomorrow. I wanted to see my mum too. :( I hope I’ll see both of them on Tuesday.
While I was on the tube back to Kings Cross, a pretty American girl talked to me randomly. She was so nice and so pretty! I realized she was from the US because of her accent so I asked where she came from (I was curious alright? Hehehe). She said she’s from Illinois and that they’re in London until tomorrow and then they are heading to Paris. WOW. Wish I was in her shoes! We talked about our crocs. She was wearing them and me too. Heh. I was being practical you see and I wanted to be comfortable all day. So yeah, it was really nice of her to talk to some random Asian girl wearing phugly crocs. LOL.
What else? Oh, instead of getting a taxi from the train BsE station, I walked! Go green! YAY! Like the Tesco advert says: Every little helps! ^_^

CHANTELLE AND I
Chantelle and I this morning. We’re both silly.
BROTHERS & SISTERS
GO GREEN
I am seriously thinking of going green so I am looking up ways or guides on how to do it. Check out my blogroll category ‘go green’ if you’re interested. I am doing this for my kid and her future kids. I mean, I know I am not going to change the world or anything and it’s certainly hard to do but at least my family and I are doing our bit.
I am going to start off by buying a reusable shopping bag so that I don’t have to use those damn plastic bags. Must remember to bring it with me at all times. *I want something like this because it’s big enough to put a few bits and pieces.

SILLY CHANTELLE
I woke up at 7.30am but Chantelle woke up way before me. Here is our conversation this morning.
MUM: Go clean your room Chantelle.
KID: I cleaned it.
MUM: When?
KID: This morning when you were fast asleep.
MUM: Hmnn…
KID: I can prove it.
MUM: You’re so silly.
YAY! Finally! I’ve been telling her to clean her room everyday and now she cleans it on her own without me telling her to do it. She deserves an ice cream!
