daily blatherings

Since I quit smoking I’ve been using the pre-wash listerine whitening mouthwash every morning and every night. Apparently that stuff work because a 15 year old girl who is working with us for a 2 week work experience said something about how white my teeth are. :P. Guess what my reaction to her comment? “Really? OMG! I hope they don’t glow in the dark.” LOL. Poor hubby!

Remember when I said hubby gave me money for my birthday? Well, I think I finally found what I want to spend it on. This amazing nokia n95! I am a big fan of nokia phones so this really hasn’t come as a surprise to me. I just wish I never looked at it when we were on base this afternoon. :/.

According to the review it’s better than a blackberry. I really want it bad. LOL. The last time I felt like this was when I wanted to get a new camera. The one I bought even after 2-3 posts of why I shouldn’t buy a new one. LOL.

Ryan is trying hard to convince me not to buy it as we are moving soon. I dunno. I am torn. I want to get the £50 monthly tariff from o2 but Ryan said I should wait because there are many great deals at the new place where we’re going. :P. He said that I am crazy sometimes so maybe I should prove him right! teehehehe. I dunno. Let me think about it. Hmn…

Looking forward to seeing my little girl speak french in her class assembly. She’s worried that she might make a mistake but I told her not to worry because if she did, it’s not the end of the world! Everyone makes a mistake.

Remember the jigsaw puzzle that I’ve been working on? Here’s the latest picture of it. You would think that I have a lot of time as I only work 19.5 hours a week compared to Ryan’s 48 hours but with housework, laundry and other things, I have only little time for it. Ryan actually have more time than I. As you can see on the picture, the puzzle is coming along. I think it will be done in a few days if Ryan keep devoting his free time on it. :P.

Enough about the puzzle, let me talk about the birthday party. The other night was bittersweet. Sweet because I have met new friends and bitter because the party reminded me so much of the few times when my mum took me to Filipino parties in Guildford. I only went to a few but I had a great time every time I went.

I work with fellow Filipinos at my the new workplace. They are the husbands or wives of the nurses that work at the hospital. It’s really nice because we get to talk in tagalog whenever no one is around. :D. At the party, there was this lady that everytime she saw me said: “Ay bunso, ikaw bai nawawala? Pinipabili ka ba ng suka?” I was like “ano ho?”. LOL. She reminded me so much of my mum! Whoa. I miss my mum and my workmates in Guildford. I never thought I’d say this but I miss working in hospitals too. :/. I am not saying I am not happy where I am because I am very happy there but I couldn’t help but miss my old workplace even G7! :P

It was a good party. I thanked Kathy yesterday and she said I could see them whenever I want. I guess I could when Chantelle and I are not doing anything. I think she’d enjoy the company of Kathy’s eldest daughter.

We’re off to attend a party tonight. :). It’s Kathy’s little girls birthday. The sweet little thing is 1 year old today! I met her a few days ago and she’s adorable! OMG! LOL. I wanted to carry her all the time. Anyway, for the party, I baked banana nut muffins, blueberry muffins and I bought 2 bags of marshmallows for the party. I didn’t have the chance to buy the baby a present so I decided to give Kathy some money to spend on some things that the baby needs. :/. I know I am bad, but I am going to get something for the baby later on this week and give it to Kathy at work. Chantelle is excited. I don’t blame her! I am excited too! LOL.
