The quote reminded me so much of Ryan and I when we are in front of the TV. I always put my feet up on his lap and he’d rub my feet. It’s a natural thing for us to do. Love is grand.

Chantelle’s been playing with this American girl called Serena. She is one year older than Chantelle but they get along really well. Last week, Serena’s mum picked Chantelle up from school to play with Serena at her house. It was really nice of her. Chantelle had a great time.

Today, we saw her on base and she invited Ryan and I over for dinner on Friday. :). I can’t wait. I’ll bring that two bottles of wine that Ryan bought for me when we went over to Kurt and Chantel’s leaving do. It seems so long ago now. Wow… I can’t believe it. Nothing to be sad about though because Chantel and I are still communicating through email and she still wants us to go and see her at her soon to be new house! :) I am excited to see her new home and her horse! Her MIL bought her a horse! If that is not spoiled by her in-laws then I don’t know what is. LOL. Lucky gal.

Anyway, back to the present, I am really looking forward to friday. I am really getting the hang of making new friends again. :). I like it. :D

I can tell that Chantelle is anxious about me going back to work. She’s asking loads of questions about it every 10 minutes. I think she’s gotten used to the fact that I am home all the time and I think she’s worried that I maybe working long hours again. I assured her that I will not be doing long hours and that I will only do it 3 days a week (21 hours). I will be at work when she’s at school and I will be home when she’s home from school. I think that’s a good deal. My boss is way cool. I heard so many negative stuff about her already but I think she’s the coolest for allowing me to work the hours that I want to work. :). I appreciate that there are people like her out there.

I know that Chantelle is nervous for now but once I start work she won’t even realize it. :)

Oh, instead of buying myself something I decided that I am taking Ryan and Chantelle to legoland with my first paycheck. Hehehe. After Legoland, I will save half of my wage and spend the other half on a wide format printer because I want to design my own scrapbook papers! I am currently in the look out for a good printer. HP is winning at the moment.
