a mum and her obese kid on five news – My advice is to just be strong for your kid. You have to be cruel to be kind! You don’t want your kid to end up with medical problems. Just think that he will thank you about it one day. Yes, I said “one day” because there will be a “one day” unless you indulge him everytime he wants to eat! Chantelle was obese but through healthy diet she now has a normal weight. It was hard but I had to be strong. Every time she kicked off I had to make sure I was in control.

I already found my favourite IDOL. It’s just too bad I can’t remember her name. LOL. I was in the kitchen when she was on. GRR. I might catch her name later. :P

HIM: Can you think of anything else?
HER: Rice

I was cleaning the kitchen when I saw this yellow tulip on our backyard. More are coming soon and it’s only February and they’re out already. Could global warming be true? Ryan and I both thinks it is. He was telling me all about it in the car the other day. He said he’s been reading environmentalists blogs and he thought they were quite interesting. Even he is worried. He didn’t believe in global warming before but he changed his mind. I hope we and our future children don’t get baked. It’s a scary thought. Recycle, reduce and re-use. <– Chantel’s motto.

Hubby bought me the Hilary Duff’s perfume yesterday. It is my reward for being good with the paperworks. :P. Here’s a review of what it smells like just incase you’re wondering:

“With Love is a mossy woods fragrance developed by perfumers Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Stephen Nilsen of Quest, and includes notes of mangosteen fruit, exotic spices, chai latte, mangosteen blossom, cocobolo wood, balsam, incense, amber milk and amber musk.”. -now smell this

It smells good. When I tested it on base the other day the scent lasted for awhile. Next perfume I am going to get is from Britney Spears called Midnight Fantasy and then back again to my old favourite ANNA SUI. I love Anna Sui! :D (More stuff on flickr.) :)

I went to Cambridge yesterday but sadly I didn’t find anything to buy. The styles these days are ridiculous. What’s with all the stupid cuts? I was there for 2 hours before Chantel and I met up at the bus station. I went to Newlook, Krisp, Topshop, Warehouse, Selfridges and other stores but I couldn’t find anything. The materials are mostly flimsy and would probably shrink as soon as you wash them. I tried to find NEXT but I couldn’t find it. Chantel showed me where it was after our lunch at NANDO’s so I am going back there today. :).

That lunch we had at NANDO’s was scrumptious. I’ve never been before so it was a new thing for me. They serve everything spicy and it’s goooood. It’s not Mexican spicy. It’s got more flavour to it! See, I am not really into Mexican food. If it’s there I’ll eat it but if it isn’t I am not going to miss it kinda like my relationship with Pizza. The only Mexican food I like is the chicken fajita and not so much of that either. Maybe once in awhile. Ryan thought it’s bizarre that I don’t like Mexican food. :P

Anyway, while Chantel and I were having our lunch, she told me all about her past! OMG! LOL. Crazy rebel girl. She’s changed so much though. She’s cool! She said she told me about her past because I didn’t strike as a judgemental person to her. We also talked about leaving the airforce. She said, by the time we leave, they would already be settled in America so she said that we can stay at their house until we find our own place. She said Kurt loves having people around same was as she does. Isn’t that nice? I told her, we’ld rather not because you know how it is with living with other people. They’d get on each others nerves! That’s the last thing we want to do!

So great fun talking with Chantel. She’s lovely. After our lunch we went to an interior design store coz she has a project for her interior design course. She’s supposed to come up with a bathroom design. I think she must have collected a bunch of interior catalogs. LOL.

After that, I decided to come home. I had fun in Cambridge. I just love busy cities. Like I said, I am going back today to go to NEXT. :D. I hope I’ll find something to buy. I also need to buy new school uniforms for Chantelle. :)
